Last time, we discussed about the cool column of the Amine Carbon

Now we shall continue with the Hot column.
After the carbon dioxide bonded monoethanolamine passes into
the hot column. The hot column has a temperature range between 78°C to 80 °C.
The carbon dioxide monoethanolamine gets slightly heated,
and the process is reversed: the monoethanolamine lets go of the carbon dioxide
gas and carbon dioxide is then passed into a dehydrator in order to dry it.
When temperatures get high, the carbon dioxide cannot form
bonds with monoethanolamine anymore, thus slowly escapes out of the hot column.
Mean while, the monoethanolamine evaporates and then again condenses (see
diagram above) back into the hot column (without forming any bonds with carbon
dioxide). In this way, carbon dioxide is separated from steam.
