Deagyas' Realm - Chapter 02: Anticipation (Part 2/2)
'Yo, Scott, Lewis!'
Urgh. It's her again. Lewis turned around, Scott followed.
The red-headed girl ignored that.
'You guys might get surprised if I tell you this, but my uncle's gonna...' her voice trailed off. Scott and Lewis started walking again, 'Well, we are getting late for the assembly.'
'Hey don't just ignore me like that! Wait up!' she followed them.
'Mind your own business. Quit blabbering all the time! You are really wasting time.', Lewis wanted to say that, but Scott stopped, he whispered, 'Let's hear her out. That's our only possible way out.' But Lewis didn't want to hear her out, the last time, she went on and on about a book she read and how it affected her *aim.
*Alice Pitcher's aim was to be a Rhitirean, the same as Lewis. He avoided making friends with her, because he feared that one day, he will have to kill her. It that ever comes true.
Reluctantly, Lewis nodded. Turning to Alice, he said, 'Okay, what do you want to talk about? Make it quick.' Alice stopped moving, 'Ahem. As I was saying. My uncle is going to Reborg town tomorrow and, guess what? There's gonna be a Rhitirean Dicolite in the Reborg Colosseum, and as a matter of fact, I have two extra tickets... so, if you two want to go there, meet me near the Tralg Tower by 10 in the morning, so-'
'Whoa. Whoa. Whoa.' Scott interrupted, How did she say all that in one breath? 'Hold onto your horses. Why us? I mean, you have so many friends out there who-'
'Don't want to be Deagorans? ', finished Alice, then facing Lewis, 'I am sure you would want to go? Since you are aiming for the Rhitirean position.'
Lewis staggered back, 'Wha- How did you know that I want to be-'
'A Deagoran?', finished Alice (again), 'I heard you talking about it to Scott.', then facing Scott, 'And you want to be a doctor. Come to think of it, I heard there's gonna be a-'
Now it was Scott's turn to stagger back,'What! Just what were you doing eavesdropping on us?'
Alice blushed , 'Well, that's all. So if you want to come, be near Tralg Tower first thing in the morning!' saying that, she flew off.
Astonished, the boys looked at each other. Not saying a word, they continued on their walk to their last academic day's assembly. 'Well, I am not going there. I have no business with Deagorans.' Scott started the conversation, 'What about you? You going?'
Lewis had an urge to say, 'Hell yeah!', but, if Scott didn't go, it would be rather unwise to go there with somebody he barely knew. But, then again, his goal was to be a Rhitirean, and like his grandma, a former retired Rhitirean, used to say, 'Watching Dicolites is a form of Deagoran experience.' Lewis always wanted to watch a Dicolite, but his grandpa always restricted him, 'You can never grow up from watching those barbarians dance.' (Wonder how grandma could become a Deagoran, facing those restrictions that is, he wondered).
So this was like a golden opportunity for him. These thoughts resulted to a long pause.
'Silly me,' Scott interuppted in his thought-train, 'of course you should go. I-', he suddenly stopped, 'Hang on... did Alice say Reborg?'
'Yeah, the Reborg Colosseum.', replied Lewis, hoping that some medical thingy was situated there (Scott was pretty passionate, after all).
'T-Then,', started Scott, 'Then count me in! I mean, not to the Colosseum but I heard the famous Dr. Rickloff is going to come over for a conference in the Sult Auditorium!'
Oh yes! came to Lewis' mind, but he restrained from showing that.
'Boy, you really are mad about that neuro thingy!', he said instead.
Before Scott got the chance to correct him, the bell rang.
'Oh dammit!' Lewis started to run, 'We can't be late today!'
That's how the day began, the new morning showed Lewis' tomorrow, the anticipation of watching a Dicolite for the first time in his life shoved Lewis to look forward to enjoy that day, because the next day was going to be another big one.
The 3rd chapter's gonna be published on the 30th June!

Deagyas' Realm - Chapter 02: Anticipation (Part 1/2)
The sunlight was irritably scorching on Lewis' face. Ugh. Who drew up the curtains! Lewis got up, reluctantly. He didn't feel like stretching, he was busy being angry. Then suddenly, he remembered.
'Today's the day. The day of -'
'Lewis. Don't start singing again!' his mother called from downstairs.
'I don't listen to anyone who woke me up this early in the morning!'
'Huh? Weren't you the one who wanted to wake up early? You forgot?'
'Wha-' Now that she mentions it, he did remember asking his mother to wake him up early. He was lucky though, his mother wasn't upstairs to see his face going red.
Lewis decided to retreat. 'Yeah, yeah. Whatever.' He came down.
'Good to see that you remembered.' His mother was smirking that him. How dare she! I am now being humiliated in the face of... in the face of... well, me!
It was the 5th of June, according to our calender. Well, you don't want to know how their calender works, tell you later, just to be on the safe side.
Stating the facts, the day didn't start off well for Lewis Lawrence. Got up late, scolded by his mother and he forgot to wear his glasses. Now, the only thing that is left is that I forgot to wear my watch. Thinking that, he followed his gaze to his wrist. Whoa! I can't believe it! He forgot to wear that as well. However, placing the blurry beginning aside, it was the last day of academy for Lewis.
Lewis had poor eyesight, specifically, he was near sighted. He had been quite accustomed to this, evidenced by his habit of pushing up his glasses up his nose. He thought that it looked smart on him, but, in fact, his sight condition was only deteriorating at quite a pace, for a fifteen year-old boy, that is.
That aside, classes of the day were going to start soon. On his way to his classroom, he met up with his best friend Scott Louis. Scott Louis had dark brown hair like Lewis, (and of the same age, of course), and a stiff face. This facial expression resembled Lewis. In fact, there a close resemblance, between him and Lewis, of personality. For instance, they didn't like talking much, but rather talked with themselves. Simply put, they were people whom you should call 'unsocial'.
'Yo Scott.' called out Lewis. The other replied, 'Lewis? What happened to your glasses?'. 'I forgot', came the reply. Lewis and Scott were friends, but they were different. Scott had a strong sense of purpose and determination, while Lewis was cowardly and hardly had much optimistic determination. Their goals were different. Lewis wanted to be a Rhitirean, while Scott wanted to be a part of the Deagoran army doctor. It is as if the cowards are the ones that want to go out taking the risky jobs.
Lewis and Scott were walking down the corridor when they heard someone-

Reality 4: A Discontinuation
The end doesn't end, the beginning only does begin. That's the way we like to think, this is because we all hate death, or rather, fear it.
There are some people who would like to die, but that would be cowardly. No, that's not it, I think people who are attempting to kill themselves think that there is a life after death, they want to take the risk, they don't care because they are done living in this world.
There barely anyone who can remember their first cry since their birth. But neither do they know it when they die, thus the end is not known to us, it is hypothetically unknowing. Thus the end is ending but the beginning does begin, because we are there to find evidence of it before meeting our end.
So what is the use of calling our brains powerful, if we are not even powerful enough to remember our birth?
Humans are pitiful beings. They try to understand themselves, but in that way, they understand more of others. They feel that they are superior, but they don't even know what made them superior. They fail, but strive, to find evidence on how they came to be here.
People ingeniously know how they are adapted, but don't know its base.
It is not as if I am putting us under the category of failures. We just are, and unless we evolve, we fail.
We always will.
But its better to do what we can, and push ourselves to the limit.
Because the next generation need a push anyway.
